Budget Committee: Marlene Hammond, Norm LaRochelle, Steve MacCleery, Ed Millette, Don Peterman, Jason Weir
Others present for all or part of the meeting: Nancy Tanner (Town Administrator), Sheila St. Germain (New Hampshire Bond Bank), Steve Stock, Doug Hall, Allen Mayville
Chairman Paveglio opened the meeting at 6:00pm.
Nancy invited Sheila St. Germain to the meeting to discuss the option of bonding our road projects. The Bond process was explained. Sheila reviewed a couple of options. There was a discussion about whether to continue to take out new bonds every year. Some feel the projects would be more likely to pass at Town Meeting is they were bonded and the initial year was a lower dollar amount. Some questioned whether this would cause the taxpayers to pay more in future years. No decisions were made.
Warden Stock was present to discuss his new budget lines. The new lines were added and the amounts were changed. He also changed the amount of his warrant article to $4,000 for one radio.
Mr. Paveglio prepared a chart of comparisons to highlight were the dollars went under spent and where the large increases are.
The anticipated revenues were reviewed.
A motion by Mr. Paveglio and seconded by Mr. Jordan to adjourn the meeting at 8:10. Motion passes.
