Minutes of Meeting
March 20, 2012

Chairman DeBold opened the meeting at 6:45pm.
Mr. DeBold made a motion seconded by Mr. Paveglio to appoint Mike Paveglio to Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. Motion passes.
David Hynes, Assessor
The Selectmen asked David Hynes the assessor to come in and explain the Land Use Change Tax on the Banas property. Mr. Hynes explained the calculation and the view assessment. Mr. Williams said there is a discrepancy on the view factor when compare to other properties. Mr. Hynes explained that he did not create the view assessment factor, but is continuing to use the existing system. The Selectmen directed Mr. Hynes to recalculate the LUCT using the actual sale price and actual view price per the sale to Banas.
Department Heads
Police: The new cruiser is ordered.
Library: The Library is hosting the following:
Organic Gardening 3/28
SPCA pet care and safety 3/29
Ukrainian Egg Decorating 4/4
Events the led up to WWII 4/25
Nancy will ask Jamie to assist Lucile with the Request for Proposals for the Library Roofing project.
Central Regional New Hampshire Planning Commission
Vanessa Gould was present from CRNHPC to give a presentation on the Suncook River Nomination process. She gave a PowerPoint presentation on the nomination program. She said the committee will be looking for letters of support for the nomination from the Town’s Boards and Committees.
There will be a public information session on April 18th at Epsom Central School at 6:30.
The Selectmen would like to have a public information session with Chichester riparian owners. It will be held on April 17th at 7pm. Nancy will send out an invitation to Chichester’s riparian owners.
Other Business
Town Report Scavenger Hunt: The winner of the Basket was drawn. Congratulations to Jeanmarie O’Herron Presatti.
Additional $5 Motor Vehicle Registration Fee: Mr. Paveglio made a motion seconded by Mr. DeBold to begin to additional $5 Motor Vehicle Registration Fee on May 1, 2012. Motion passed.
Garbage Removal: Nancy reviewed a revised quotation from Waste Management with the Selectmen. The Selectmen would like to use Pinard for both locations.
Budget Committee: Mr. Paveglio made a motion seconded by Mr. DeBold to appoint Don Peterman to fill the vacancy on the Budget Committee. His term will expire in 2013. Motion passes.
A motion by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Paveglio to adjourn the meeting at 9:07pm. Motion passes.
