Minutes of Meeting
February 7, 2012

Members present:  Richard DeBold, Mike Paveglio, Jeff Jordan
Others Present:  Nancy Tanner (Town Administrator), Jim Plunkett, Michele Plunkett, Alan Quimby, Patrick Clarke, Lucille Noel

Chairman DeBold opened the meeting at 7:00PM.  
Department Heads
Police:  Nothing new to report.  
Fire:  The Association purchased an energy efficient refrigerator for the Department.  All the needed donations for 2 Lucas CPR devices have been raised.  Thank you to those who donated.  On March 15th the Fire Department will be having an open house so that the public can view the Fire Trucks.  Three EMTs completed the new refresher course.  Chichester Ambulance was highlighted on WMUR as having very low fees for service.  
Highway:  The crew is continuing with winter and truck maintenance.  After the recent accident Jim held a safety meeting for all the drivers.  Jim will also be cutting back the tree line at the shed to improve visibility.  
Library:  This month’s artist is Gale Laker Phelps.  She has photographs from her trip to France on display.  She has offered to donate 20% of her sales to the Library renovation project.  There will be a reception for Gale on February 18th from 10am – Noon.  
There will be a family game night on the 29th.
Heritage:  The Heritage Commission will be hosting an information meeting with Dave Bauers on February 16th.  Mr. Bauers will be discussing the window restoration process.  
Historical:  The Historical Society is having an open house on February 19th featuring a silhouette exhibit.
Building:  The building department is still slow. Since January 1 there have been 5 accessory permits.  Total fees since then = $250.00

Other Business
Street lights:  Unitil will be installing a light across from the Town Hall parking lot.  While researching the street lights it was determined that the one on Webster Mills Road may not be needed.  Mr. Paveglio will follow up with the residents and advise the Board.
Impact fees:  Mr. DeBold made a motion seconded by Mr. Paveglio to expend $449.94 from the Fire Department’s impact fees to purchase racks for the storage boxes previously purchased out of impact fees.  Motion passes.
Fireworks Permit:  The annual permit for Spark’s Fly Fireworks was signed.

A motion by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Paveglio to adjourn the meeting at 7:49pm.  Motion passes.
