SELECTMEN’S MINUTES
September 21, 2007
Tax Rate Setting
8:30AM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Colbert, Selectman MacCleery, Selectman DeBold and Administrator Lisa Stevens.
Others Present: Sandra Rourke; Department of Revenue and Peter Aubrey; School Administrative Unit; Fred & Donna Chagnon
Estimated revenues were reviewed and adjusted. The tax rate was calculated by Ms. Rourke, auditor for the Town of Chichester.
The Selectmen agreed to take $298,761 from the surplus to offset the proposed increase in the tax rate. The proposed rate will be finalized by Barbara Robinson at the Department of Revenue and adjusted if necessary.
The tax rate meeting adjourned at 9:20AM.
