Members Excused:Barbara Frangione, Dawn Marshall

February minutes reviewed and approved.  Motions by Ann and Kate.

Lucille passed around news clippings in reference to historic votes that have failed at town meetings.  Many towns do not have the funds for preservation.

Treasurer Report:
We received $500.00 from town budget
$50.00-Steve Taylor’s talk on One Room School Houses.
$72.34-Hand outs at town meeting & Master Plan expenses
Motion made by Kate & Patty to reimburse Lucille for these expenses.

Project Update
Phase II of Grange Hall window grant.  We are almost finished with our Grant application.  We will have it to NHDHR on time. (End of April)

We will all meet Wednesday for a photo at the Grange for our Grant application.

James Garvin is reviewing our Master Plan application.  He is very impressed.
Scenic Road signs (we have looked into Advantage Sign and Diamond Signs)
Diamond Signs 18 X 24 = $85.00 12 X 18 = $ 45.00
Rectangle (18x24)
2 ½ letter size
We have seen a number of options for these signs
Reflective color town seal

We looked at historic house signs (fundraiser).
The signs will have date and if possible builder.
We looked at a brochure from Olde Colony Artisans from Farmington Maine.
The signs are $65.00 each.  We will look at more companies for this fundraiser.

We have decided to partner with the Photography Group to take photos of different building on Main Street “Looking Up”.  We will send out permission letters to different people to see if we can take those photos.

Wakefield NH submitted a Study Grant from US Department of the Interior, to research mill sites in town.  Michelle will check to see if this is something we can do.

Plan NH Charette
Historic Main Street (needs and what we would like to see happen)
Application is free---But they do ask for a donation of $5,000.

Patty is still making a list in reference to The Northern Pass.  It seems that Deerfield is going to be affected the most.

The Garden Club will have its Annual Tour on July 20 with a rain date of July 21.

Or next meeting will be at the Grange Hall with Steve Taylor speaking on One Room School Houses.

Adjourned @ 8:45

Respectfully Submitted
