Minutes from December 21 meeting read and corrected. Motions by Kate and Mardy.
Kate has offered to help Fred with the webpage.
Lucille has paperwork at home that needs to be filed. We will have a work session to put all the paperwork in file folders. The commission decided on February 26 from 10-12.
Lucille presented the Heritage Fund non-lapsing accounting.
We went over our 2018 initiatives. We presented out master plan chapter to the town. We’re waiting for their response.
We would like to explore the process of a historic district. We will try to find someone from the Preservation Alliance to explain the process to the commission. Lucille will contact the Alliance to see if they can help
Dawn will talk with Charlie & Gail Kojigian to see what the plans for the cobbler shop on Webster Mills Rd. They might be willing to put a small historic sign on the cobbler shop.
We would like to invite a couple residents of Webster Mills Rd to our next meeting.
At the last meeting Ed spoke of a block grant that we could possibly use for the cross walk.
We would like to choose a NH Humanities Council program. The "NH on High:Historical and Unusual Weathervanes" got the most votes. Motion to expend $50 for the program were made by Kate & Mardy. Lucille will check to see if another commission/group would like to partner with us.
