General Items
Minutes from last month were unanimously approved.

7:30 Presentation – Friends of the Suncook River (FOSR).  Eric Orff and Mary Fougere presented  the Suncook River Watershed Natural Resource Inventory and Greenway proposal.  They provided the CCC with copies of the watershed maps and 4 copies of their NRI.

Baseline water quality monitoring of Lynxfield pond and establishing a Town-owned land management committee were considered but not selected for this year’s goals.


CCC Goals Status Review:

1) Land Protection Subcommittee
Nothing to report.

2) Source Water Protection Education Efforts/Web Site
Lee-Ann faxed the drinking water protection article to the Suncook Valley Sun.

3) Designating Prime Wetlands
We are awaiting the final report for phase I of the wetlands inventory

4) Carpenter Park Survey/Easement Boundary Clarification
The warrant article to survey Carpenter Park was voted on at Town Meeting on March 18 and amended so that the CCC contribution was increased to $7500 from $5000.  The Parks and Recreation Commission will also contribute $7500.  The amendment passed.  Bob will schedule time with the selectmen to follow up regarding the letter of commitment defining the CCC role with Carpenter Park that was offered by Selectmen Debold and Colbert at the February CCC meeting.

5) Implementing the Sanborn Cray Conservation Area management plan
The Town now owns a portion of the Plummer property that will be used for access to the area.

Other
Motion – Pay annual dues of $200 to the NH Association of Conservation Commissions.  Passed

Motion -  Continue family membership with Five Rivers Conservation Trust and pay the $50 fee.  Passed

Motion -  Continue $50 Friends of  the Suncook River municipal membership and pay the annual dues.  
Passed

Jeff and Steve Walker from LCIP walked the Drinon easement and marked the unmarked property lines.
