Minutes of February 8, 2018

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Bob Mann at 7:05 pm.
Minutes of meeting of 01/11/18 were approved.
Mail Bag: The current statement for Conservation Fund Accounts was received and reviewed.
- Agenda
- Public Outreach: Reviewed the article on the MSCA and possible photos for publication in the Sun.
- Land Conservation: Gordon Jones worked with Mike Lynch of the NRCS to design a road access for the Shaw Pasture. The Wetlands Permit by Notification Application will be completed by Zach Boyajian and Bob Mann will consult the D.O.T.
- Carpenter Park: The final details for the release of funds for the recently completed grant project at Carpenter Park are under negotiation.
- Madeline Sanborn Conservation Area: The application for the $300.00 grant from NH Fish and Game for mowing the Shaw Pasture was submitted.
- Spaulding Town Forest: The Easement Deed for Spaulding Town Forest which includes an observation platform will soon be ready for review by the Selectmen. Zach Boyajian made a motion to authorize Bob Mann to sign the Easement Deed for Spaulding Town Forest with 5 Rivers Conservation Trust. The motion was seconded and passed.
- Easement Stewardship: Easement walks for 2017 were finished and the reports filed with the town
Other Business: The Trail Maintenance Workshop with the Chichester Conservation Commission and the UNH Stewardship Network will be on 04/21/18. More information to follow. At this time the Commission will not be considering any new projects at the town owned property at 39 Hillyard Rd (Map 8, Lot 47 - 31.5 Ac).
The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 pm. The next meeting will be on 03/08/2018 at 7:00 pm and the public is invited.
