Cemetery Trustee Meeting
September 20, 2018 – 5:30 p.m.
Present: David Pinckney, Linda Fisher (trustees); Tammy Jameson (alternate trustee); Blaze Konefal (Trustee of the Trusts)
Old Business
- August meeting minutes were approved.
- Tammy was approved to vote in the absence of Mark McIntosh.
- The process of requesting reimbursements from trust funds for expenses paid was reviewed.
- Linda will request copies of all 2017 invoices and deeds to reconstruct expenses that were reimbursed through the budget rather than through the trust funds.
New Business
- Five plots were sold by Mark.
- Training is needed for all trustees on the identification and sale of plots.
- Current plot prices do not cover current maintenance costs. Further discussion is needed.
- Maps need to be updated to reflect sales and burials.
- Tammy will contact CAI Technologies about updating the 2008 Leavitt map
- A form is needed that will help a maintenance contractor efficiently break down maintenance costs per cemetery.
- Tammy has volunteered to create a template.
- The trustees have decided to move forward with their goal of hiring a sexton.
- Tammy will contact Candia and request a copy of their job description.
- Linda will contact Lynn Clark in Hopkinton and do the same.
- Work day on Saturday, October 20the for fall cleanup.
