1. Discussion – Playground Initiatives                                
Decision Required: None.

CM MacKenzie presented the Mayor and Council with Capital Improvement Program items regarding playgrounds in Town.  The Mayor and Council will discuss this matter further.

2. Proposed Ordinance O-2-18 Amending the Speed Humps Section of the Code
Decision Required: Whether to move forward.

Attached is a proposed Ordinance in response to the Mayor and Council’s request to include all traffic calming devices and the process into the Town Code.

3. Proposed Ordinance O-3-18 Amending the Parks Section of the Code
Decision Required: Whether to move forward.
        
The Attached is a proposed Ordinance in response to the Mayor and Council’s request to include the prohibition of the use of tobacco products and vaping into the Town Code.

4. Traffic Information – 59th Avenue Speed Hump Request
Decision Required: Whether to move to public hearing.

The received a speed hump petition.  The Town Clerk verified the required signatures and the Director of Public Works collected data regarding traffic.  The Mayor and Council have requested a memorandum and recommendation from the Director of Public Works.  This will be provided upon his return at the beginning of next week.  The Mayor and Council will have to decide on whether to schedule a public hearing at the January Town Meeting.

4. Traffic Information – Carlyle Street Speed Hump Request
Decision Required: Whether to move to public hearing.

The received a speed hump petition.  The Town Clerk verified the required signatures and the Director of Public Works collected data regarding traffic.  The Mayor and Council have requested a memorandum and recommendation from the Director of Public Works.  This will be provided upon his return at the beginning of next week.  The Mayor and Council will have to decide on whether to schedule a public hearing at the January Town Meeting

6. Position Description
Decision Required: Definition of job and duties.

The Mayor and Council have discussed this matter in the last few Worksessions and continue to refine the position and process.
