1.  Discussion O-7-13 Dangerous Weapons
        Decision Required: Whether to introduce.

The Mayor and Council have directed the Town Attorney to draft legislation regarding dangerous weapons.  

2.    Walgreen’s Representative (tentative)
        Decision Required: None.

The Town is attempting to get a Walgreen’s representative to attend the meeting to provide an update on the progress of project.  Confirmation of attendance has not yet been obtained.

3.  Newsletter in the Apartments
        Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address. There is concern that the newsletter is not being delivered to the residents.

4. Budget Adjustment -Yard Waste Cost Reductions~Decision Required: Whether to adjust the budget to purchase a wood chipper.

Discussions were held regarding yard waste cost reductions at the last Worksession.  The Mayor and Council will determine whether to move forward on the proposal via a budget adjustment for the purchase of a wood chipper.  Contact the Town Administrator if you need another copy of the previously issued memorandum outlining this proposal.
        
5.   Program Open Space Project Update
    Decision Required: None.

The Mayor requested an update regarding the status and process for the construction of the new stage and seating area under the State’s Program Open Space grant.

6.   Dog Waste Stands
     Decision Required: None.

The Mayor and Town Council discussed this issue at a previous Worksession.  Staff was to obtain a cost estimate for the Animal Waste stands and the Mayor and Council were to suggest locations.

7.  Community Organizations Session in Ward 5
        Decision Required: Whether to pursue.
        
The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address.

8.  NPS Homes in Ward 1
     Decision Required: None.

The Mayor has placed this item on the agenda and will address with an update.  The Department of Interior had previously stated that the homes would be demolished in August.

9.  Approval of Letter to WSSC Regarding Cheverly Avenue
    Decision Required: Whether to approve.

The Town has been notified that WSSC has future plans for replacing a pipe the length of Cheverly Avenue.  This letter expresses the concerns regarding the failing situation of the roadway the last time this was done in the early 1980’s and what measures can be taken to avoid a reoccurrence of this situation.

10.  Department Head Evaluations
      Decision Required: None.

The Town Administrator will present the evaluations for the Director of Public Works and the Chief of Police in closed session.
