1. Discussion – Utility Permit Process and Fee
Decision Required: Whether to proceed.
The Town Administrator would like the Mayor and Council to consider instituting a utility permit and fee requirement for the local utilities before disturbing Cheverly rights-of-way (see attached memorandum).
2. Introduction CAR-1-12 Raising the Tax Cap
Decision Required: Whether to approve in April.
The proposed tax increase will place the Town at the limit of its tax cap. In order to have room for any future tax increases, the tax cap must be raised.
3. Adoption Resolution R-2-12 Mutual Aid Agreement
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
Previous Mayors and Town Councils have agreed to an arrangement allowing Public Works Departments to utilize equipment to come to one another’s aid. An example of this was the tornado in College Park. The new agreement is a carbon of the previous with some clean-up language.
4. Pet Ordinance Signage
Decision Required: Whether to proceed.
CM Cook is seeking Council approval to post the requirements of the Town Code regarding the proper use of Town property by pet owners (see attached section of the Town Code).
5. Discussion – Police Complaint Process
Decision Required: None.
