This year's Memorial Day Observation will take place from 8:45am until 10:00am, on Monday, May 28th. Please join the community in honoring the men and women who have given so much and ultimately their lives defending our country. Readings by Chelsea schoolchildren, music by the Chelsea High School Band, and activities by the Polish-American Veterans will provide a genuine perspective on the Observation.
Residents will gather outside of City Hall on Broadway; the rain location will be the Chelsea Council Chambers. I look forward to seeing you remembering Chelsea's long history of individuals making the ultimate sacrifice and honoring their memory.
