  • Article in the Sunday Telegram Re:  Drummond Woodsum Law Firm given an award

  • Review of Projects and Issues
Selectman Burns was in last Thursday calling references for some of the lawn mowing bids.  He and Selectman Emery attended the Twelve Town Group Meeting in Waterboro Monday night, and last night he attended the Standish Town Council Meeting with Selectman Emery and Selectman Harmon.

Selectman Booker reported that she followed up on some Work Comp and liability coverage questions, an issue with a resident, and spent most of her time this week reading the Internal Control Document in preparation for the Board’s Workshop.

Selectman Harmon also mentioned the Standish Town Council Meeting  and said it was nice to see how they conduct their meetings.  She reported that she has been busy taking care of day-to-day issues and contacted BBI because trash was not picked up on the road she and Selectman Burns live on.  She was not sure if other roads might have been affected.

Selectman Emery talked about the discussion at the Twelve Town Group Meeting and conversation there about issues they are having with the Dispatch Center in Sanford.

Selectman Emery talked about getting together with the Town of Standish and a couple other towns last night to recognize Tony Vigue who spent a lot of time working on our cable franchise agreements.  Mr. Vigue has been a great asset to the Town of Buxton.
