Selectman Booker said other than that she has been doing daily work this week and coming in to do mail.

Selectman Emery talked about the piece of property he mentioned last week at the end of Limington Road and 112.  We will be surveying that to purchase a small piece of land for the little crossroad that connects the two of them together.  Selectman Emery met with “Butch” Yarumian at Maine Boundary Consultants in West Buxton to talk about what needs to be done and Mr. Yarumian is going to try to do the survey within the next 3 weeks.  When he is ready, he is going to contact Selectman Emery so they can meet at the property and go over it one last time.

Selectman Emery said he and Peter Burns attended the Twelve Town Group Meeting in Waterboro on Monday.  They met the new Emergency Management Agency Director and discussed the Red Alert Program. There was also a gentleman there from Maine Regional Planning.  He went over the year in review and was looking for volunteers to be elected public officials.  Senator King’s representative from York County was there.  They are going to keep three offices open and all other offices will be closed.  His people are going to float through the communities setting up in each town on a certain day to be available to answer questions, and take ideas and opinions on issues.  They hope to get to all the communities in York County within a year’s time.  John Sylvester, the head of the Twelve Town Group, was there and talked about going to a Legislative Policy Committee meeting with Maine Municipal Association.
