  • Review of Projects and Issues
Selectman Libby has completed the yearly report for the Maine Forestry Division and is now working on a Sales Ratio Study to determine what the percentage ratios were to the assessments on the 90 sales that we had.  The Town is required to do this once a year.

Selectman Senechal talked about how extremely busy this day has been.  Several of the Selectmen spent most of the day here starting with the Public Hearing for Skip’s Bar.  She said the Board has not been through anything like that before so this process was all new to them.

Selectman Senechal reminded everyone that the Toy Box is now open and we are taking applications.  She also mentioned that we received a shipment of coats from the Salvation Army and encouraged those who need coats for their children to come in and take them.

Selectman Harmon attended the Public Hearing today and spoke on behalf of the Town along with Selectman Senechal and the Police Chief.  She explained the process that follows the Hearing and said the Commissioner will make the final decision on the renewal.

Selectman Emery has been in to pick up the mail and has been keeping up with things that are going on.  He was asked by the Facilities Manager for SAD 6 for a copy of the cost analysis the Town received from Alpha One on the handicapped accessibility to the Hanson School which he provided.
