1. Call to Order.
The Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.

3. Discussion held between 5:00 & 7:00 p.m.

4. Review of Correspondence.

5. Review of Projects and Issues.
Selectman Sanborn, Libby and Harmon met with the Fire Chief, Police Chief and the Public Works Director to critique the handling of the Patriot’s Day Storm. The discussion centered around what worked and what did not work and how to fix it.
On Tuesday, May 8th Selectman Harmon, Anne Robishaw and Lary Owen attended a FEMA meeting to get the forms and learn how to complete to get money back from the damage from the Patriot’s Day storm. Pleasant Point Park sustained damage which can be recovered. FEMA will pay 75%, the State 15% and 10% the Town absorbs.
Selectman Harmon reported that she is working with the DOT on an issue with a flashing beacon on Route 202 before the bridge.

E.O.060705010 – An order to approve Chief Graves attendance at a workshop on How To Deal with Difficult People to be held on 5/11/07. Approved 5-0.

Selectmen’s Meeting Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
Planning Board Meeting Monday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m.
A Special Town Meeting follows at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
A Public Hearing on the new Elementary School will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m.
12. Other Business.
Selectman Emery has been asked to be a member of the committee which is looking into the overage in the County Budget issue.
Selectman Collomy reported that he attended the Ethel Lewis Candle Light Vigil and there were about 300 people in attendance. Selectman Collomy also attended the Coreen Weise Vigil.
13. Public Comments and Questions.
Larry Miller asked when the Public Hearing on the Secret Ballot items would be held. He also wanted to know if there was going to be a candidate night.
