Business Meeting Agenda
1. Call to Order.
The Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. Approved 5-0.
2. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes.
Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes for February 21, 2007. Approved 5-0.
3. Discussion held between 5:00 & 7:00 p.m.
4. Review of Correspondence.
· Flyer from Maine Turnpike Authority announcing the closure of the outer Congress Street Bridge (by UNUM) on March 5 for reconstruction. Opening will be mid-November 2007
· Email from Tony Vigue, Saco River Cable – Announcing the hire of Patrick Bonsant as the new Manager of the Saco River Community Television
· Letter from Fire Chief Jim Graves – Re: Commending 5 individuals for actions at recent accident on Route 112.
5. Review of Projects and Issues.
The Selectmen and the Department Heads are working on Budgets.
Selectman Emery reported that 100% of the items that belong to the Historical Society have been moved to the old York Mutual Building in W. Buxton.

7. New Business.
The new Rescue vehicle that was approved at the last Town Meeting was delivered today.
8. Executive Orders.
E.O.060702018 – An order to approve an Application for Exemption from Local Taxation for a Widow of a Veteran [Map 6, Lot 72A]. Approved 5-0.
E.O.060702019 – An order to accept the bid presented by Maine Label & Printing of $4.92 per copy for the printing of 1,600 Town Reports. Approved 5-0.
E.O.060702020 – An order to approve Fred Farnham’s attendance at a MBOIA – Insulated Concrete Form Foundations workshop. Approved 5-0.
9. Executive Orders by Initiative.

10. Accounts Payable and Payroll Warrants.
E.O.060702016 -- An order approving expenditures as documented in Accounts Payable Warrant #35-07. Approved 5-0.

13. Public Comments and Questions.
Keith Emery reported that the Planning Board would be meeting on Monday night and they will be discussing ordinance changes.
Dianne Senechal asked the public to separate trash items from the returnable bottle and can bags as trash was getting into the Keep The Heat On bottles.
Dianne reminded the public that the Food Pantry has moved and is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Dennis Santolucito asked for an update on the Comprehensive Plan and the status of the website.
Jeannette Fernstrom reported that they held a get-together with families of veterans last Sunday, February 25 here at the town hall. There were 30 people in attendance.
