Business Meeting Agenda
1. Call to Order.
The Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.
2. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes.
Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes for January 31, 2007. Approved 5-0.
3. Discussion held between 5:00 & 7:00 p.m.
None
4. Review of Correspondence.
· Email from Saco River Cable Committee – Re: Potential loss of Franchise Fees
· Letter from Fred Farnham, Code Enforcement Officer, – Re: Outdoor lighting requirements for new Hannaford building at corner of Rts 202 and 4A.
· Memorandum from John J. Sylvester, Chairman, Eleven Town Group – Re: Eleven Town Meeting February 19 and information opposing LD214
5. Review of Projects and Issues.
Selectman Emery reported on his visit to Augusta to speak against LD214. LD214 wants to do away with the York County Budget Commission. Selectman Emery felt the legislators were listening to the testimony that was presented.
On February 19 Chris Lockwood from MMA will be discussing the different school proposals at the Eleven Town Meeting. The Meeting is open to the public and will be held in Waterboro.
Selectman Sanborn reported that Dave Hall has painted a section of the Groveville Fire Barn, the Fire Chief’s office, the Selectmen, Ann and Dianne’s office.
Selectman Harmon reported that budgets are being worked on.
