The Board of Selectmen appointed three members, one of which is a Board of Selectmen member.
The following individuals were appointed by the Board of Selectmen:

The organizational meeting of the Commission was held Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Buxton Town Hall. ~The following officers were elected:
Andrew J. Townsend, Chairman
Dianne M. Senechal, Vice Chair
Jennifer A. Barschdorf, Secretary
The Commission voted to appoint Judy Sjulander to fill a vacancy created by a resignation.
The next Meeting of the Charter Commission is scheduled for August 13, 2009 at the Buxton Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
~A Public Hearing to gather input from the public is scheduled for August 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Buxton Town Hall at 185 Portland Road. ~Every one is welcome and is encouraged to participate in the important meeting.
It was decided that meetings would be held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm.
It was asked that we make contact with MMA to attend the next meeting.
May Schumacher said she would be in charge of finding someone to take notes and it was decided that the sessions would be videoed as well.
