Screening Subcommittee 4/16/2012
MEETING of the Screening Subcommittee of the Burrillville Town Council to be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Building, 105 Harrisville Main Street, Harrisville, RI.

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Councilors Edward J. Blanchard, Wallace F. Lees and David J. Place.

MEMBERS ABSENT:  

Business to be considered and acted on:
        
Motion to accept the minutes of the subcommittee meeting held March 20, 2012 and dispense with the reading of said minutes.

1.      Conduct interviews for various boards:

•       William Hoffman - Juvenile Hearing Board
•       Dorothy Karolyshyn - Juvenile Hearing Board

2.      Review and act on reapplications from various board members:

•       Christopher Desjardins-Planning Board
•       Bruce F. Ferreira-Planning Board
•       Jeffrey Presbrey-Planning Board
•       Paul MacDonald-Personnel Board
•       Jose A. Pedro-Conservation Commission
•       Mike Scurka-Conservation Commission
•       Edmund Varin-Zoning Board
•       Ken Johnson-Zoning Board
•       Sandra R. Cooney-Zoning Board
•       Arthur Hurley-Budget Board
•       John Pacheco III- Budget Board


3.      Review and act on applications from the following:

•       Arthur R. Hurley-Narcotics Guidance Council


4.      Review and act on vacancies for various boards:

•       Board of Assessment Review – One Alternate
•       Recreation Commission – One Alternate
•       Juvenile Hearing Board – Member

5.      Consider and act on recommendations to fill vacancies.

6.      Review attendance record of Screening Subcommittee members.


7.      Review memo from Town Clerk regarding term expiration for Michael Molloy.

8.      Adjournment.
