A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Briarcliff Manor, New York was held in the Village of Briarcliff Manor Village Hall 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York on the 26th day of October, 2010 commencing at 8:10 p.m.

Upon motion by Trustee Capasso, seconded by Deputy Mayor Venditti, the Board voted unanimously to open the Special Meeting at 8:10pm.  

authorize Village Manager to Approve Change Orders – FWSP joken development corp.

Mayor Vescio asked Village Manager Zegarelli to outline the information regarding the FWSP pertaining to the over/under item quantity change orders.  

The Board had general discussion relating to the Transmission Main work by Joken Development Corp.  

Upon motion by Trustee Sullivan, seconded by Trustee Capasso, the Board voted unanimously to approve the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hereby approves the following item quantity adjustments with an overall project increase of $2,429.56:

Credits to VBM totaling $272,010.57: Items UNDER budget, as identified below:

Item # 4 credit in the amount of $99,296.36; used less than the 19,050 linear feet of 16 inch class 54 ductile iron pipe.  

Item # 5 credit in the amount of $605; used less than the 60 linear feet of 12 inch class 54 ductile iron pipe.  

Item # 8 credit in the amount of $4,000 for one less fire hydrant assembly.    

Item # 11 credit in the amount of $4,800 for two 16 inch butterfly valves and boxes not used.  

Item # 12 credit in the amount of $3,950 for two 12 inch gate valves and boxes not used.  
 
Item # 15 credit in the amount of $76,500 for water crossing number 1.

Item # 16 credit in the amount of $35,280 for water crossing number 2.

Item # 21b credit in the amount of $17,519.21; used less than 2100 tons of permanent pavement binder course.  

Item # 21d credit in the amount of $6,400; used less than 80 square yards of reinforced concrete pavement.  

Item # 23 credit in the amount of $595; used less than 170 square yards of driveways and bituminous concrete sidewalk replacement.  

Item # 27 credit in the amount of $7,500; used less than 150 cubic yards of additional stone bedding.    

Item # 28 credit in the amount of $7,500; used less than 50 cubic yards of additional concrete.    

Item # 29 credit in the amount of $8,065 for permitting fees not used.  

Debits to VBM totaling $274,440.13: items OVER budget, as identified below:

Item # 6 debit in the amount of $1,995; for more than 75 linear feet of 8 inch class 54 ductile iron pipe.  

Item # 7 debit in the amount of $32,700; for more than 35,680 pounds of ductile iron fittings.  

Item # 10 debit in the amount of $21,390; in excess of the twenty 16 inch gate valves and boxes.  

Item # 14 debit in the amount of $1,300 for one 8 inch gate valve and box.  

Item # 17 debit in the amount of $25,632; for more than 610 linear feet of flowable fill.    

Item # 18 debit in the amount of $4,400 for 15 test pits.      

Item # 19 debit in the amount of $87,020.66; for more than 325 cubic yards of rock excavation.        

Item # 20 debit in the amount of $16,362.50; for more than 30 cubic yards of Class B concrete.          

Item # 21a debit in the amount of $36,468.68; for more than 525 tons of permanent pavement top course.  

Item # 21c debit in the amount of $5,520.74; for more than 2,800 cubic yards of permanent pavement subbase.  

Item # 22 debit in the amount of $6,500; for more than 50 linear feet of bituminous curb replacement.    

Item # 25 debit in the amount of $157.30; for more than 150 cubic yards of additional excavation.  

Item # 26 debit in the amount of $34,993.25; for more than 150 cubic yards of additional backfill.    

Upon motion by Deputy Mayor Venditti, seconded by Trustee Sullivan, the Board voted unanimously to close the Special Meeting at 8:15pm.
