Planning Board Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, September 11, 2012

A regular meeting of the Planning Board of the Village of Briarcliff Manor, 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York 10510, was held in the Municipal Building on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 7:30pm.

Members Present:        Edward Nolan, Chairman
Stuart Halper, Member
Shelley Lotter, Member
Jay Neveloff, Member

Sarah Yackel, Village Consultant

Absent:         Richard Pastore, Member
Dan Pozin, Village Attorney
David Turiano, Village Engineer
                                                
Call to Order: Chairman Nolan called the meeting to order at 7:30pm.  

PB-3-2012- ASHRIDGE REALTY: The Planning Board held a public hearing to review an application for an approval of a 3 lot subdivision for a 20 acre property located at 508 Scarborough Road.  

Upon motion by Member Halper, seconded by Member Neveloff, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn the hearing to the October 9, 2012 meeting.  

PB-5-2012 – FAITH LUTHERAN BRETHREN CHURCH –SITE PLAN APPROVAL AND VILLAGE CODE CHAPTER 220-15, PROTECTION OF NATURAL RESOURCES REVIEW (STEEP SLOPES APPROVAL): The Planning Board reviewed an application to re-grade and fill a portion of the property at an existing Church.  The property is located at 480 Pleasantville Road.

Village Attorney Pozin stated the Board of Trustees needed a recommendation from the Planning Board for the Church’s Special Use Permit.  

The Board stated they had no objections to the amendment of the Special Use Permit and asked that the neighbors be notified of the request.  

Upon motion by Member Halper, seconded by Member Neveloff, the Board voted unanimously to make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees to approve the amendment to the Special Use Permit.  

ZBA CASES: The Board had no comments on the Zoning Board of Appeals case.  

MINUTES:

Upon motion by Member Lotter, seconded by Member Halper, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of August 14, 2012.    

ADJOURNMENT

The Board made special mention of September 11th and stated everyone was in their thoughts.  

Upon motion by Member Lotter, seconded by Member Neveloff, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:36pm.
