Planning Board Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, March 9, 2010

A regular meeting of the Planning Board of the Village of Briarcliff Manor, 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York 10510, was held in the Municipal Building on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 8:00pm.

Members Present:        Ed Nolan, Chairman
Shelley Lotter, Member

Call to Order: Chairman Nolan called the meeting to order at 8:00pm.  

PB-13-2005 PAC WATER CORP- SUBDIVISION: The Planning Board reviewed an application for a re-approval of a conservation subdivision for a 26 acre property located on Cedar Drive East and Long Hill Road East.  Final conservation subdivision plat approval for the premises was dated October 9, 2007 and a second approval was granted on March 10, 2009.

Mr. Jim Ryan of John Myer Consulting explained the request on behalf of the Applicant.  He stated the downturn of the economy had delayed the project and requested a re-approval.  He further stated extensions had been granted by the Health Department and the Department of Environmental Conservation.  

Upon motion by Member Neveloff, seconded by Member Lotter, the Board voted unanimously to grant the re-approval of the application.  

Mr. Ryan stated they hoped to be back before the Board within 90 days with an application.  

ZBA CASES:

The Board had no comments.  

MINUTES

Upon motion by Member Lotter, seconded by Alternate Member Herbst, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of February 9, 2010.

VILLAGE ENGINEER’S REPORT

Member Lotter recused herself.  

  • The Club requested a minor change to the rear façade of the sale model building.  They want to remove the brickwork from the rear elevation.  
Chairman Nolan stated the change was minor and to be addressed by the building department.  

  • The Transmission Main portion of the Full Water Supply Project is ahead of schedule.
  • Construction of the field at The Club site will begin shortly and should be ready for use in the fall of 2011.  
  • Architects are being interviewed for the Scarborough Park Project.  
ADJOURNMENT

Upon motion by Member Murray, seconded by Member Lotter, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:07pm.
