REGULAR MEETING– 8:00 P.M.


  • PB-14-2009 – GETTY REALTY CO. SITE PLAN AMENDMENT:  The Planning Board will review an application for a site plan to modify an existing gas station.  The property is located at 1168 Pleasantville Road.  
  • PB-16-2009-A MAZE IN POTTERY, SIGN PERMIT APPROVAL:  The Planning Board will review an application for a sign permit for an existing commercial building located at 76 North State Road.
  • PB-1-2008-THE CLUB AT BRIARCLIFF MANOR AMENDED SPECIAL USE PERMIT RECOMMENDATION: ~Briarcliff Manor Investors LLC (BMI) has filed for an amendment to the Special Use Permit.  The Planning Board will review the Special Use Permit and provide recommendation to the Board of Trustees. ~The property is located at Scarborough Road, Lodge Road, and Central Drive and was formerly owned by The Kings College.
  • ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT- The Board of Trustees has requested that the Planning Board provide comments on proposed amendments to Chapter 220-6J (14), Zoning, with respect to CCRC’s as special uses in residence districts.

An application for a building permit to construct an addition to the first and second floors of an existing single family dwelling is denied due to nonconformity with Column 9, One Side Yard Dimensions of Schedule 220:A5 and Column 10, Two Side Yards Combined Dimensions of Schedule 220:A5 of the Code of the Village of Briarcliff Manor.

  • VILLAGE ENGINEER’S REPORT:  The Village Engineer will provide a report to the Planning Board on ongoing projects.
  • NEXT MEETING: The next meeting of the Planning Board is scheduled for February 9, 2010. The next submission date for applicants is January 22, 2010.
