REGULAR MEETING– 8:00 P.M.

1.      PB-1-2008-PUBLIC HEARING THE CLUB AT BRIARCLIFF MANOR AMENDED SITE PLAN,        
        WETLAND, STEEP SLOPE REVIEW (CLASSIC RESIDENCE BY HYATT):  The Planning Board will      continue a public hearing on an application from Briarcliff Manor Investors LLC (BMI) for an amendment  to the site plan approval previously granted for a Continuing Care Retirement Community containing a    total of 385 living units and support facilities on this site. The property is located at Scarborough Road,     Lodge Road, and Central Drive and was formerly owned by The Kings College.    

2.      PB-14-2008 – ARENA –VILLAGE CODE CHAPTER 220-15, PROTECTION OF NATURAL  
        RESOURCES REVIEW (STEEP SLOPES APPROVAL): The Planning Board will review an application to      construct stone walls for terracing the existing grade, construct patios, walkways and stairs, reconstruct      an existing fountain and regrade the existing slope.  The properties are located at 43 and 61 Linden Circle.

3.      ZBA CASES:

·       V-12-2008       -Michael Pahk, 140 Larch Road
        An application for a building permit to construct a second story addition and portico to an existing single     family dwelling is denied due to nonconformity with Column 8A, Front Yard Minimum Yard Dimensions       of Schedule 220:A5 and Column 9A, One Side Yard Minimum Yard Dimensions of Schedule 220:A5 of the       Code of the Village of Briarcliff Manor for Lots with Buildings with Gross Floor Area Less Than 3,500   
        Square Feet.

·       V-13-2008       -Barry & Linda Schwartz, 140 Central Drive
        An application for a building permit to construct a single family dwelling on a proposed lot is denied due      to nonconformity with Column 5, Minimum Lot Width of Schedule 220:A5 of the Code of the Village of      Briarcliff Manor.

·       V-14-2008       -Briarcliff Congregational Church, 25 South State Road                                          An application to modify variance V-3-1995 to eliminate condition number three (3) which states the             nursery school operating within the Church must obtain and maintain a Not for Profit status.     

4.      MINUTES:
·       August 12, 2008 Regular Meeting

5.      VILLAGE ENGINEER’S REPORT:  The Village Engineer will provide a report to the Planning Board on         ongoing projects.

6.      NEXT MEETING: The next meeting of the Planning Board is scheduled for October 14, 2008. The next        submission date for applicants is September 26, 2008.
