REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
December 15, 2008

7:00 p.m.   EXXON MOBIL – PUBLIC MEETING – Request for Determination of Applicability (328 Shrewsbury Street)  Removal of underground storage tanks and lines.

Nathan Jones (Camp Dresser & McKee) was in attendance for the applicant.  They propose to remove four 10,000 gallon tanks and one 1,000 gallon waste oil tank.  All tanks are underground.  They will remove the two hydraulic lifts from inside the building.  No pavement proposed.  M. Coakley motioned to issue a Negative Determination with Special Conditions (1) given undefined long-term plan for the site, it shall be stabilized upon entering the first growing season; (2) any stockpiling shall be done outside the buffer zone; and (3) any impacted soil shall be removed within 30 days of exposure and containment systems maintained for the life of the project or until the soil is removed; J. Walsh seconded; all agreed.

7:30 p.m.   COMPASS POINTE ESTATES, LLC – PUBLIC HEARING (continued) – Notice of Intent (Main and Sewall Street – Compass Pointe)  Construct a portion of a subdivision roadway and two detention basins within the buffer zone of Spruce Pond to the north and a red maple shrub swamp to the south.

J. Walsh motioned to accept Compass Pointe’s request for a continuance until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009; M. Coakley seconded; all agreed.

8:00 p.m.   COMMISSION BUSINESS

Vouchers were approved.

M. Coakley motioned to approve the November 17, 2008 Meeting Minutes; D. Duffy seconded; all agreed.

M. Coakley motioned to adjourn the meeting; D. Duffy seconded; the Commission unanimously agreed.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
