Members Present: Chairman James Wood; Michael May; Jamie Underwood; Marty McNamara, Town Administrator
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Chairman Wood.
- Police Chief Sahagian appeared before the Board and recommended that Matthew L. Ryel be appointed as an Officer to the Boylston Police Department.
- Mr. Ryel addressed the Board and outlined his background.
- Chairman Wood discussed the small-town atmosphere of Boylston and Selectman May discussed the need to work safely and be aware at all times.
Michael May motioned that the Board appoint Mr. Ryel as a police officer, subject to the successful completion of a physical and psychological exam. Jamie Underwood seconded the motion; voted all in favor.
At 6:20 PM Jamie Underwood motioned to adjourn. Michael May seconded; voted all in favor.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:20PM.
