AGENT’S REPORT
Sharps Disposal Program - Low volume thus far; will continue to advertise.
Tahanto School - The “Old Tahanto” was under the process of being demolished without prior removal of septic. Dennis spoke with them.
Garbage disposals remain in place.
The BOH received a check from UMass for flu reimbursement for the amount of $530.80. As of now, there is no billing to Medicaid; if we did bill, we could potentially receive $18-19 p.p. Dennis believes we have up to 1 year to bill them.
Mosquito Control - Increase of fees/services of 1.18%. This puts the cost for Boylston at $35,658.00 per year. There is a State Reclamation and Mosquito Control Board. They must send information to the Town Administrator and the Selectmen.
HHAN - The BOH and Dennis discussed why we didn’t receive a HHAN alert the day of the Boston Marathon Bombings. Dennis is looking into this.
PLAN REVIEW
Lot 9, Longley Hill Road, was approved with the condition of accessibility for repairs to the septic.
Tina motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 p.m.; Sarah seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
