June 28, 2010 was confirmed as the date for the next BOH meeting.

Sarah Scheinfein was welcomed as the newest member of the Board.  Dennis briefly explained the plan process, Title 5 regulations, and our local regulations.

AGENT’S REPORT

Seasonal/H1N1 Flu Update – Official word from the state was received to maintain all unexpired vaccine until they know what is needed for next year.

Detailed Inventory List for Region 2 Equipment – Dennis is continuing to work on.  There is no storage at the Police Station.  Dennis will check with the Town Administrator about using a vacant room in the building.

Public Water Supply Law Change Material – The reporting documents have been changed from 72 to 24 hours.  Dennis still needs to contact Scott McCubrey to obtain the language needed to prepare a plan.  The responsibility is the Water Department’s, with the BOH as a backup.  Should an event occur, DEP/Public Health will require the Board to find out what happened to the water supply and the effect it will have.    A list of ways to contact the public is needed.  Dennis said he can activate reverse 911.  He will follow-up for next month.

Boylston Emergency Preparedness Handbook – Will have at the next meeting.

Dennis said he is working with Joe Flanagan to organize a collection site where sharps can be disposed of.  As of July 1st, they will no longer be allowed to be put in the trash.
