GENERAL BUSINESS
Vouchers were approved.
Lorie motioned to approve the Meeting Minutes dated August 24, 2009 with corrections noted; Matt seconded; all agreed.
October 26th was confirmed as the date for the next BOH meeting.
AGENT’S REPORT
Seasonal Flu Update – There is no more seasonal vaccine coming out of the Department of Public Health at this time. We will cancel our Flu Clinic until we receive the vaccine.
H1N1 Flu Update – Offering the vaccine at specified hours was discussed along with any vaccine left over going back to the school for those who might not have received it. A final plan can not be determined until the supplies are received.
Regionalization – Discussions continue with no clear direct action. The Board also discussed a request from Dennis regarding consideration of changing his title. No determination was made.
Dennis said he is looking for parent groups for the Worcester Tobacco Coalition to speak with.
Dennis informed the Board that he is a member of the Mass Health Officers Association.
