1. Minutes from the January 9th meeting were reviewed and approved.
2. Review wastewater treatment plan meeting and discuss implications for BSNAC:
· The current recommendation from the engineers is to use the sheep field as the leach field and it will be tested to determine its capacity potential which will hopefully be at least 25K gallons.
3. Subgroup Presentations: review key facts and implications for school space needs:
· Space Needs Committee: there are six different types of space. Core Classrooms, Specials (music, PE, etc), Special Services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Guidance), Shared Space (kitchen, halls), Staff spaces (offices), Outside Infrastructure (parking, playgrounds, playing fields). The drivers are the core classrooms. Everything else can be manipulated to fit.
· Population Forecast Committee: looking at the different forecasts, limited additional space may be needed as early as the 2009-2010 school year and substantially more space in 2014-2015 if Bolton continues to grow at the present rate.
· Regulatory Committee: at this time, new regulations are not yet available.
4. Review and discuss Globe article regarding state school construction spending freeze and its implications for BSNAC options. It was discussed that future funding will be difficult and past experience is no guarantee of future performance.
5. Brainstorm criteria for a good solution and then select those to be used in evaluating the results of brainstorming next week.
