Meeting Location:       Florence Sawyer Conference Room Begin:  6:35 PM End:    07:25 PM

1.      Minutes from the November 28th meeting were approved.
2.      The three sub-committees reported on their status:
a.      Population Forecast Committee:  data is still being accumulated.  Emails have been exchanged between the subcommittee members.  There is still more data to come in order for Leigh to compile all the numbers.  Richard is researching how the other groups gathered data so that we double check ourselves and don’t duplicate unnecessarily.  Ken did research getting population by grade data from the DOE but it might take several weeks.  Once the software is done, we will put together forecasting models.  Margaret does now have supporting information in regards to the analysis of the Florence Sawyer population.  NESDEC was paid money to put together data,.  This information will be given to the Population Committee.  MAPC has also recently done population projections for the district.  This information will also be given to the Population Committee.  Margaret feels this information is very good.  Their projections have been pretty good in the past.  She suggested possibly paying them a nominal fee for them to present a model from their data since they are so close to this with what they have.
b.      Space Needs Committee:  also still gathering data.  Looking into drivers per grade data.  Data is now being gathered for the capacity data.  Ken found the blueprints for the Florence Sawyer School with the square footage.  He is still pursuing the blueprints for Emerson.  He has some data but not yet complete.
c.      Regulatory Guidelines Committee:  still gathering data.
3.      The agenda for next meeting is to share the results of the models from each of the committees.  This information will be reviewed to see if the goal for final presentations on March 3rd is feasible or whether more time is needed.
