Public Ways Safety Committee
Bolton, Massachusetts
January 11, 2012
Members present included: Mary Ciummo, Peter Ross, Rob Hagopian and Leslie Breeze.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Old Business
1. Linda Day is working to set up dates for us to meet with both the Advisory Board and Board of Selectmen.
2. We felt asking Don Lowe to interface with Mass Highway regarding any road issues would be better than PWSC dealing with Mass Highway; including: Impact of development at Rte 495 interchange and Rte 117
A. Kane property
B. Salt Box property
C. Smith property.
3. We continue to work the Line of Sight bylaw 10.2. Minor adjustments were made to the previous draft. We look forward to presenting the Bylaw to the Planning Board either the 25th of January or February 8th. We are also planning on meeting with Jennifer on the 25th to discuss the Mobility Committee.
New Business:
1. Advisory is meeting with the DPW regarding the budget on January 31st. We need to send a representative to support the DPW and defend our request that is included in its budget.
2. We will be scheduling a meeting with Vin Alfano.
3. Action items to be included in the annual report included the formation of the Mobility Committee, Line of Sight By-law and Master List of intersections.
Motion to adjourn was accepted and the meeting concluded at 8:40pm.
