Public Ways Safety Committee

Members Present: Peter Ross (co-chair), Mary Ciummo (co-chair), Tom Kittler, Leslie Breeze.
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. Minutes for the December 14th meeting were reviewed and approved.
Line of Sight Bylaw Update: Mary will contact Linda Day to set up meetings with the BOS and Advisory Committee, if possible before the Feb.8th warrant article submission deadline.
Mobility Plan: the Committee reviewed the article recruiting members for the Mobility Sub-committee. Mary will contact Linda Day for posting of the article in The Bolton Common and Clinton Item. Peter will contact the Town Planner to schedule a meeting to discuss the next step.
BOS Dec 15th Tree Trimming Policy Meeting: Mary reported that National Grid and the town tree warden attended the meeting. The tree warden stated that he had a good working relationship with National Grid and had no complaints with their work. Two residents complained about the amount of time it took to restore power and that the company was not pruning trees properly.
Remote Participation Amendment: the Committee had no objections with the amendment; Mary will contact Pam Powell with our feedback.
Annual Meeting w/ Police Chief Alfano: Peter will set up a date with the Police Chief and schedule the meeting at the Public Safety Building.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
