Minutes for September 8, 2010
Members in attendance: Mary Ciummo, Rob Hagopian, Tom Keller, Peter Ross.
Meeting called to order at 7:02 p.m.
Minutes from August 25th were approved.
Old Business:
- DPW allotment for safety issues. Mary met with Shelly at DPW to discuss PWSC advocating for safety related items for the 2011 budget. At present, all safety related items such as signage, line painting and replacement of crosswalk movables is not itemized, but bundled under construction and maintenance of local roads. Shelly recommended for FY 2012 to make a list of anticipated safety projects with associated costs and create a separate line item under road maintenance. The Committee will develop a list of requested projects.
- Line of Sight Bylaw. The Committee will meet with the Planning Board on September 22nd to discuss the revised bylaw.
- The rescheduled meeting with Chief Vin Alfano is confirmed for October 27th.
- The Committee finalized the edit of the Yield to Stop document.
