The Police Chief Search Committee met at 8:30 a.m. in the Private Dining Room of the International Golf Course at 159 Ballville Road. Mr. Steven Unsworth of BadgeQuest was present for this meeting.
Minutes of December 12, 2005, January 9, 2006 and January 18, 2006 were read and approved.
The Police Chief Search Committee organized in preparation for their interviews with five candidates for the police chief.
Interviews for the police chief position were conducted between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
On a motion made by Pane and seconded by Giunta the Police Chief Search Committee voted to recommend three finalists to the Board of Selectmen. The finalists are Timothy Anderson, Richard Bates and Vincent Alfano.
Mr. Unsworth will contact the finalists. Mr. Unsworth will also contact the other candidates and let them know that they have not been disqualified at this point of the process. Reference checks will be conducted prior to the interviews with the Board of Selectmen.
Mr. Pane thanked everyone who participated in the police chief search process for their hard work.
