Circulation for the 11 months that the library was open in FY08 totaled 43,905.
Kelly received a request to hold a wedding at the library. She told the caller that policy prohibits private functions in the building. Kelly also received a request to allow letterboxing to take place at the library. (see agenda item below)
The STRP employee working on the library’s web site added a counter to the website so we can track usage. We will continue to add events, photos, and other information to the site.

Letterboxing:
As mentioned earlier, Kelly received a request to allow letterboxing to take place at the library. She gave a brief description of the activity, and stated that she had spoken with personnel at the Shrewsbury Library, who reported a positive experience with letterboxing. A motion was made by Bob seconded by Chris to allow letterboxing in the library. The motion passed unanimously.

Naming Opportunities:
The Bolton Lions Club gave money to the capital campaign to be used for assisting the visually impaired. They would like a plaque on the item. It is not sure what their donation will be used for. It was suggested that either a chair with a magnifying glass or large type books. Kelly will talk to Alice Roemer to get more information.
