Library Trustees’ Meeting July 10, 2006
Present: Kelly Collins, Alana Dunn Clarke, Chris Sterling and Robert Zak.
The meeting minutes from June 2006 were approved.
The Directors Report from June 2006 was approved.
Circulation:
· Total circulation was the highest ever at 53,708.
Personnel:
· Step increase issue.
· Town employees are not allowed to be references for other employees.
· Monday, July 17th at 6:30pm Kelly’s review is scheduled at the Library.
Collections:
· The process of transferring all E’s to JJ has been completed.
Programs:
· Princess Day will now be called Royalty Day and both girls and boys can attend.
Budget:
· Trustees signed final bills.
· CMRLS net lender check was received for $3,073.68.
o For now it was agreed to place the check in State Aid.
Library Expansion Project:
· Thursday, August 3rd a 60 minute meeting is scheduled with the BOS, Library Trustees and Anne Larsen at 7:00pm at Town Hall. Potential Construction Committee members will be invited to attend.
Capital Campaign Update:
· Applicant review of Construction Committee received some good names so far.
Miscellaneous:
· Rules and Regulations/Approved changes to Library Policy Manual
o Library to be open during Bolton Town Fair.
o Library allows users to supply own paper for copier.
o Library will not accept checks for payment.
o Recorded books will take place of books on tape.
Next Trustees’ meeting scheduled to take place at 8pm on Thursday, August 3rd after the Town Hall meeting.
