BOARD OF HEALTH MINUTES
Meeting Held at the Houghton Building on October 23, 2012 at 6:30 PM

Call to order: 6:30pm
Minutes reviewed for 10/9/12:
- L. Andrews moved to approve the minutes of 10/9/12 with one change, C. Slade 2nd. All in favor 2/0.
Mail Reviewed:
Action/Discussion:
- M. Carlisle informed the Board that it is time for the landfill sampling. Board approved the annual sampling.
- 58 East End Rd., Jones - request to perform Title 5 inspection for a cultec bed two months early.
- Board approved and signed the letter.
- Corn Rd. trash complaint – white good is gone, trash is still there.
- M. Carlisle to follow up with Planning Board to see if this is a buildable lot.
- B. Brookings asked the Board to sign the 9A and 9B forms for a local upgrade approval for 305 Long Hill Rd., Collins – to have one test hole instead of two. Board approved at the last meeting but the forms were not available at the time to sign.
- B. Brookings informed the Board of a Beaver Permit request for the area on Still River Road on Mass Fish and Wildlife property. Board approved.
Building Permits Reviewed:
- 43 Powder Hill Rd., Maher – retaining wall. B. Brookings signed 10/11/12.
- 284 Green Rd., Masse – new addition. B. Brookings signed 10/16/12.
- 132 Century Mill Rd., Gabrielle – kitchen renovation. B. Brookings signed 10/17/12.
Septic Permits Reviewed:
- 236 Main St., Mentzer – distribution Box. Board approved.
- 356 Main St., Slater – distribution Box and grease trap. Move to next agenda.
- Lots 57B, 58A&59A Cider Circle (Century Mill Estates) – new septic. Board approved.
- Lots 60A, 61A&62B Mill Pond Rd. (Century Mill Estates) – new septic. Board approved.
- 19 Whitcomb Rd., Dutcher – transfer permit. Board approved.
Inspections reviewed:
- 236 Main St., Mentzer – Title 5. Board approved because the distribution box is being replaced.
- 24 Hudson Rd., Ryan – Title 5. Board approved.
- 3 Weathers Ln., Fredrickson – Title 5. Board approved.
- 99 Spectacle Hill Rd., Talbot – Title 5. Board approved.
L. Andrews moved to adjourn the Board of Health meeting at 7:15pm, C. Slade 2nd. All in favor 2/0.
