BOARD OF HEALTH MINUTES
Meeting Held at the Houghton Building on September 11, 2012 at 6:30 PM

Also Present: Bill Brookings, Health Agent, Nashoba Associated Boards of Health and
Michelle Carlisle, Health and Permitting Assistant
Call to order: 6:30pm
Minutes reviewed for 8/28/12:
- C. Rogers moved to approve the minutes of 8/28/12, C. Slade 2nd. All in favor 2/0.
Mail Reviewed:
- Board discussed the Technical Deficiencies DEP has with two of the shared systems.
Action/Discussion:
- Beaver permit issued for the East Bolton Flood Control Dam.
- B. Brookings discussed his site visit and the issuance of the permit.
- Corn Road trash complaint.
- Planning Board is looking into if this is a buildable lot.
- Assessor’s office had no plot plan on file.
- Slater’s is requesting a one day liqueur license and expecting 125 people.
- Board is requiring they get porta-poties which need to be supplied by a NABH licensed septage hauler.
- M. Carlisle to send letter and let Don Lowe know.
Building Permits Reviewed:
- 163 Sugar Rd., Stegner – remodel kitchen & dining room. Bill signed 8/24/12.
- 185 Main St., Roemer – tents. Bill signed 8/24/12.
- 44 Sunset Ridge Ln., Heritage Properties – new condo. Bill signed 8/24/12.
- 42 Sunset Ridge Ln., Heritage Properties – new condo. Bill signed 8/24/12.
- 108 W. Berlin Rd., Hryniszyn – shed. Bill signed 9/11/12.
- 264 Vaughn Hill Rd., Beauchemin – new single family home. Bill signed 9/11/12.
Septic Permits Reviewed:
- Lot 1A Spectacle Hill Rd., Elworthy – new septic.
- Septic Extension requests for lots: 17A, 18A, 19, 21, 28, 29 & 34 Oak Trail, under the Permit Extension Act.
- B. Brookings stated that the request letter has the wrong permit dates. Also, they can request the additional two years if they like.
- B. Brookings to call.
- 134 Vaughn Hill Rd., Evans – upgrade permit.
- Board reviewed the plan. Variance free. Board approved.
Inspections reviewed:
- 579 Main Street, Grenier – updated Title 5.
- 164 Sugar Rd., Dilling – Title 5.
- 78 Sugar Rd., Sahagian – Title 5.
- 17 Fieldstone Way, Gesimone – Title 5.
C. Rogers moved to adjourn the Board of Health meeting at 7:01pm, C. Slade 2nd. All in favor 2/0.
