BOARD OF HEALTH MINUTES
Meeting Held at the Houghton Building on February 28, 2012 at 6:30 PM

Call to order: 6:34pm
Minutes reviewed for 2/14/12:
- C. Rogers moved to approve the minutes of 2/14/12, L. Andrews 2nd. All in favor 3/0.
Mail Reviewed:
- 119 Wilder Road water retest received. Board approved the Title 5. M. Carlisle to send letter.
Action/Discussion:
- Review Open Space and Recreation Plan at the request of the Conservation Commission.
- The Board recognizes that updates are needed and the Board requests updates be made by the Conservation Commission and the Board will review once the updates have been made.
- Salt Box response to Title 5 letter.
- Property owner, Nabil Roufail, spoke with Bill Brookings and Bill explained the Title 5 process to receive the full five years to upgrade the system.
- Century Mill Estates response to Nitrogen Aggregation letter. None received yet.
- 0 Corn Road – Trash complaint.
- B. Brookings to send letter.
- C. Rogers stated that this was an issue in the past and it was very difficult to contact the property owner.
Building Permits Reviewed: none
Septic Permits Reviewed:
- 25/27 Forbush Mill Rd., Nashoba Valley Realty – septic upgrade permit. Approved.
- Board also approved the building permit for a renovation for office space. Chris Slade signed the application.
- 5 Manor Rd., Rogers – distribution box permit. Move to next agenda.
- Buildings 6 & 7 Sunset Ridge Lane, Heritage Properties – sewer line permit. Approved.
Inspections reviewed:
- 248 Harvard Rd., Farrow – Title 5. Behind in shared system payments. Unoccupied for over 6 months.
- M. Carlisle to send letter.
- 78 Drumlin Hill Rd., Parker – Title 5. Approved.
- 5 Manor Rd., Rogers – Title 5. Approved.
- 18 Harris Farm Rd., Souza – garbage disposal removed. Approved.
- M. Carlisle to send letter.
- 310 Ballville Rd., Poulin – response to letter received re: date of last occupancy. Date unknown.
- M. Carlisle to send unoccupied over 6 months letter.
C. Rogers moved to adjourn the Board of Health meeting at 7:13pm, L. Andrews 2nd. All in favor 3/0.
