237 SUGAR ROAD – GRAUSTEIN

This property houses Carter Manufacturing.  At the present time, the number of employees is below what would trigger the need for a public water supply.  Should the property be subdivided it might eliminate the possibility of creating a public water supply.  Therefore the Board is considering placing a cap on the number of employees that can be employed at this facility to be 24 or less.

225 MAIN STREET

Administrative Assistant, Andrea Schnepf spoke with the owner.  The horses have been at the property for approximately two weeks.  Various agencies have been to the property with regard to the lack of shelter for the horses although there are trees.  They indicated the trees were considered adequate housing, however, the owner will be providing a three sided shed by the weekend of May 13th.

412 MAIN STREET

The original building permit that was signed stated that a 9 room house was being built.  The property has a 4 bedroom SDS.  The house appears to have been built in excess of 9 rooms and 4 bedrooms.  The Board of Health is asking to the builder to attend the May 23rd meeting at 7:15 pm.

225 OLD BAY ROAD - CALCAGNI

The owner of this property is requesting to use the old well for irrigation.  Bill Brookings had the information on the new well and provided same to the Board.  The original well had a low flow and was a shallow artesian well.  The newly drilled well has an adequate flow for the house and irrigation.  After discussion, the Board is requesting that he attend the next Board of Health meeting on May 28th at 7:30 pm.

101 WILDER ROAD – PAT LARSON

Craig Martin, on behalf of Ms Larson, requested an extension to complete the upgrade of the cottage until May 18, 2006.  The extension was granted.  At this time, the items that are still outstanding are as-built plans and deed restriction recordings.  After discussion, the Board is asking that both a representative from Ducharme and Dillis and Ms. Larson be present at the June 13th meeting at 7:00 pm.
