The Energy Committee met at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
Agenda
•~~~~~~~~Decision on what to do about the reduced committee numbers, should we keep the low numbers and request for a lower quorum requirement.
•~~~~~~~~Decide if we want to recommend Margaret Campbell as a candidate for a voting membership.
•~~~~~~~~Revisit decision on not having a booth at the Bolton Fair now that we know there are volunteers ready to staff it. We really only have to fund it (Which we need to answer for if we don’t since it was allocated in our budget request)
•~~~~~~~~Update on Easy Energy for the town (Chinloo or Margaret)
•~~~~~~~~Energy audit recommendation review with Don Lowe (Martha or Margaret)
•~~~~~~~~RPF drafting for data acquisition system for the school (Martha)
•~~~~~~~~Update on Lecture Series
•~~~~~~~~Update on Green Communities Act
Discussion:
- The committee voted unanimously to recommend Margaret Campbell to the Board of Selectmen to appoint as a new member to the Energy Committee.
- The committee agreed to sponsor the booth for the Bolton fair but will have Bolton Local and local green businesses schedule to be at the booth throughout the four days of the fair.
- We hope to recruit more voting members to the committee but meanwhile, we will have to get approval from the selectmen to reduce our committee size so that the number of members to meet quorum will be more realistic for the number of members we have now.
