Meeting Minutes

Absent: None
1. Minutes from the meeting of November 8, 2004 were approved.
2. Kate Weiss-Gordon presented the treasurer’s report which was approved. Total funds to grant for the FY06 grant cycle are $2,887.16.
3. Kate Weiss-Gordon presented the chair’s report. New members Sue Membrino and Peter Vincent were welcomed. Sue has completed MCC online training and Peter will be completing the training in the coming week. Member term expirations were reviewed. Members were asked to consider and suggest potential new members.
4. Pat Bensetler and Laura Burke reported on the MCC grantwriting workshop they attended.
5. The membership expressed an interest in the BCC presenting a pastel workshop by artist Gregory Maichak at either Bolton Manor or Davis Hall. A press kit and references will be secured. Dates and costs at the potential venues will be explored. The project will be funded from the Bolton Arts Council account.
6. The FY06 grant applications received were reviewed and either approved or denied. List attached. The following member filed a MCC conflict of interest form and recused from voting on the application as follows:
Susan Tripp — Council on Aging
Rejection and award correspondence along with appropriate firms will be sent in accordance with MCC guidelines. The press release announcing the grants awarded will be sent to The PersonNameBolton Common.
7. No members of the public attended the meeting to offer comments.
