1. Meeting called to order 6:00 pm.
2. Scheid updated Board on meeting held in early January with Arklow; specifically with Brian Lynch, General
Manager and Christopher Estrop, Controller, regarding fy06 valuation and ATB base. Estrop will provide
additional, detailed income and expense data for Scheid review.
3. Board, Scheid, and Manzello reviewed and approved GIS Desktop Services RFP prepared by Bradbury,
RFP distribution and public advertisement will commence shortly.
4, Board reviewed capital planning memo distributed by Bradbury regarding long term (four year segmented)
GIS precision, ground control project for next generation Bolton GIS. Cost would be approximately
$150,000-$175,000.
5. Manzello updated Board on fy07 abatement applications to date. Manzello completing subsequent
inspections and comps.
6. CPA proponents Troup, Swanton, Boots and Storey attended to update Board and office staff regarding
their plans on facilitating the passage of CPA, and desired parameters and timelines. They also want to
understand and assist to facilitate a solution for additional, on-going work required by assessors office.
Board briefed proponents that they require a portion of CPA statutory allowance of funds be formally set
aside for CPA administration for use by the assessors, as required. Proponent CPA details include a target
of full 3% surcharge, across all classes of property with no commercial exemption; residential exemption if
required to pass. Aslo, all concurred that the senior and low income exemptions should be implemented.
7. Nerxt Board meeting on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 and will be posted.
