Board of Assessors
Meeting September 13, 2005
Minutes:
1. The meeting was called to order at 6:08pm.
2. The board discussed the retirement of the Principal Assessor Tony Bryan. The board noted that since the triennial revaluation was not yet complete, an interim solution was required. Alternatives were discussed and the board agreed to meet with Harald Scheid to discuss options which still resulted in getting the tax rate set such that bills are mailed out on time. The board noted that the office is currently running well and thanked Tony for his efforts during the past 18 months or so.
3. Meet with Harald Scheid relative to Appraisal services. The board met and discussed the status of current work and what was left to do. Harald agreed to provide a “check off list” that he uses during certifications and Tony agreed to identify what deliverables he would be able to complete before leaving on October 7.
4. The next meeting was set for September 20, 2005.
5. Adjournment at 8:30pm, motion by Bonina, seconded by Johnson, vote unanimous.
