The Advisory Committee met at the town hall at 7:30 p.m. Minutes of March 31, 2009 were read and approved.
DISPOSAL OF 1975 MACK TRUCK
On a motion made by Shnitzler and seconded by Czekanski, the Advisory Committee voted to approve of the disposal of the 1975 Mack Truck. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski – yes, Benjamin – yes, Delaney - yes)
TRANSFER REQUEST
On a motion made by Shnitzler and seconded by Dinjian, the Advisory Committee approved the transfer request in the amount of $1,130.00 for the electric bills for the remainder of FY09 for the library temporarily located at 563 Main Street. (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Czekanski – yes, Benjamin – yes, Delaney - yes)
REVIEW OF THE TOWN MEETING PRESENTATION
The Advisory Committee reviewed the Advisory Committee presentation prepared by Mr. Shnitzler for the Annual Town Meeting. Mr. Shnitzler will update the presentation based on the discussion.
ASSIGNMENT OF ARTICLES
The Advisory Committee assigned a committee member to answer any questions at town meeting related to the articles. Assignments are as follows:
Article 1: Accept Annual Reports - David Lindsay
Article 2: Fiscal Year 2010 Operating Budget – David Lindsay and Burt Shnitzler
Article 3: Stabilization Fund Transfer – Burt Shnitzler
Article 4: Increase in Demand Fees – Randy Dinjian
Article 5: Implementation of a Permanent Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility – Connie Benjamin
Article 6: Purchase of a Wood Chipper – Randy Dinjian
Article 7: Replacement of School Zone Flasher Units – Bob Czekanski
Article 8: Fyfeshire Dam Phase II Inspection – Larry Delaney
Article 9: Amendment to the Town of Bolton Administrator Bylaws - David Lindsay
Article 10: Establishment of a Stabilization Fund by Minuteman Regional Vocational
Technical School District – Bob Czekanski will make statement on why the Advisory Committee disapproved this article
Article 11: To Fund an Alternative Water Supply for Emerson School – Burt Shnitzler
Article 12: Tree Replacement Program – Burt Shnitzler
Article 13: Funding for July 4th Celebration – Connie Benjamin
The next Advisory Committee meeting will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
