The Advisory Committee met at the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Minutes of March 24, 2009 and April 28, 2009 were reviewed and given preliminary approval.  The April 14, 2009 minutes were given final approval.

DISPOSITION OF CHIPPER
On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Shnitzler, the Advisory Committee voted to approve disposition by the DPW of the old chipper.  (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Benjamin – yes, Czekanski – yes, Delaney – yes)

TRANSFER REQUESTS
On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Benjamin, the Advisory Committee voted to approve a transfer request from Ms. Madden, Treasurer/Collector in the amount of $610.00 for the salary account related to the transition of tax collector/treasurer position.  (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Benjamin – yes, Czekanski – yes, Delaney – yes)

On a motion made by Shnitzler and seconded by Czekanski, the Advisory Committee voted to approve the transfer request from Ms. Madden, Treasurer/Collector in the amount of $7,800.00 for the June health insurance bill related to the number of new participants in our health insurance plans for FY09.  (Lindsay – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Dinjian – yes, Benjamin – yes, Czekanski – yes, Delaney – yes)
                                                                        
OTHER BUSINESS
Mr. Lindsay informed the Committee that discussions were underway between the Town Accountant and Town Veterans Agent regarding approximately $7,000 remaining in the FY09 Veterans Services budget as a result of a transfer at the beginning of FY09.  There is a question as to whether the funds may be returned to the Advisory Reserve or whether the funds will rollover into free cash.

Mr. Lindsay also reminded the Committee that the Appointing Committee, consisting of the Town Moderator, Town Clerk and Board of Selectmen chairman would need to appoint or re-appoint two members to the Advisory Committee for FY10.

On a motion made by Dinjian and seconded by Delaney, the Committee voted to adjourn at 8:35 p.m.
