The Advisory Committee met at the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The Advisory Committee voted to go into executive session at 7:35 p.m. to discuss potential litigation. (Roll Call: Lindsay – yes, Powell – yes, Slade – yes, Shnitzler – yes, Bosselait – yes). The Committee will reconvene to open session.
The Advisory Committee had a general discussion about the warrant articles for the Special Town Meeting.
On a motion made by Lindsay and seconded by Slade, the Advisory Committee voted to approve articles 3 & 4 related to the rezoning of two parcels and the amendment to the Base Town Map.
The Committee discussed and modified their slide presentation for the Special Town Meeting.~ Advisory reached unanimous consensus on the figures and content of a single slide projecting the tax rate impact of the capital projects being discussed at the Special Town Meeting.~ Mr. Powell will present the slide.
The Committee discussed Jeff Boudreau's request to include a larger fee for the Fair Committee’s use of the relocatable building on the Emerson School property.~ Mr. Powell requested that Linda Day send a letter or email to Mr. Boudreau indicating that we discussed his request, we appreciate his input and we are pursuing the appropriate course of action.~ Mr. Powell will discuss with Jodi Ross to determine how this should this should be addressed.~ We need to determine who is responsible for a decision (School District or Selectmen).~ The appropriate entity will then need to decide if it is interested in pursuing the matter.
